Monday 2nd February - Kate Jones
12pm - 3pm

Kate Jones is a Star Consultant with House of Colour – the countries leading Image Consultancy. She specialises in personal styling, colour analysis and shopping for individual clients as well as celebrities and leading corporate companies. We are delighted that Kate is coming along to talk about the impact wearing the right clothes can have. She will explain how colour analysis and styling works, and give you a few hints and tips to take away from the event.

Recently opened high end clothing shop in Hungerford, Mojo and McCoy, will showcase their latest range of clothing via a fashion show and talk you through the best buys for the up and coming season. With the race calendar about to begin for 2015, discover what to wear to stand out from the crowd and get some top racing tips for the Cheltenham Gold Cup Day on Friday 13th March.

 

 



Monday 13th April - The Imperial Easter Eggs of Carl Fabergé
12pm - 3pm

We welcome Toby Faber who has written two works of narrative history on Stradivarius and Fabergé’s Eggs, and has also given many lectures on these two subjects. Between 1885 and 1916, Carl Fabergé made fifty jewelled eggs – Easter presents from Russia’s last two emperors to their wives, which have become the most famous surviving symbols of the Romanov Empire. Toby will talk about and explore the connection between the three rules Fabergé had to conform to when designing the eggs, and how the eggs also reflected Fabergé’s own perspective on the lives of the Tsarinas who were to receive them.


Monday 11th May - Kathy Lette

Kathy Lette first achieved succès de scandale as a teenager with the novel Puberty Blues. Her latest novel is Courting Trouble, and her earlier books include The Boy who Fell to Earth, Dead Sexy and Mad Cows (which was made into a film starring Anna Friel and Joanna Lumley). For several years she worked as a television sitcom writer in the US and Australia. In addition to writing novels, Kathy appears frequently on television and radio, and she writes articles for magazines and newspapers. Monday 1st June - Julie Deadman

We welcome Toby Faber who has written two works of narrative history on Stradivarius and FaJulie is a passionate racehorse owner who has "lived the dream”. Hear how Julie started off in ownership via horseracing syndicates, before being introduced to her now racing partner at Newbury Racecourse in 2009. Her dream came true in 2012 when her horse, Reckless Abandon, won all five of his starts as a juvenile, including two Group 2s and two Group 1s.
